Andy and Nema Anderson, who managed it on a trial basis last summer, will remain. Mark (Butchs nephew) and Vivian Betenson, owners of the old ranch and its home, will also be on hand to greet visitors. Some 5,000 visitors were attracted to the primitive log home last summer. They came from every one of the fifty states, most of d the countries, and an Iron Curtain one. Much publicity has resulted, a number of metropolitan publications featured articles about the home this past winter. Charles Kuralt, of CBS News, has written that he hopes to visit the home during this forthcoming summer. Trail rides will be offered, as will burro rides for the small fry. Overnight parking for campers will be permitted. Admission will not be charged, but gift and printed items will be for sale. Randy 2-- 3 $60-$9- son-in-la- free-worl- My wife and I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank the citizens of Kanab, with whom we came into contact, for their kindness and help during our time there. We arrived in town on April 17th and checked into the Canyons Motel. The owner noticed we had a flat tire. I phoned the Conoco garage and they did not have the size needed, however Mels Chevron did. The owner of the motel offered the use of her pick-u- p truck to transport the tire to the garage. Mels Chevron was helpful in the purchase of a new tire and the Conoco owner, although never seeing us, allowed Chevron to use our Conoco credit card. When we went for dinner at Parrys Lodge the staff treated us as guests in their homes making us feel welcome. So many small misfortunes us that day but never to happened have we departed a town with aj better feeling. Citizens like these are truly a credit to any town or city and we feel proud to have known those of Kanab. SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY E DELICIOUS MEXICAN 5-- colorlock wood siding name brand furnishings.
