Any person, firm or corporation, or any officer or employee thereof, who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than $299 or imprisoned not more than six months or both fine and imprisonment Each and every day during which such illegal reconconstruction, erection, struction, alteration, maintenance or use continues shall be deemed a separate offense. Section 13. If any one or more sections, clauses, sentences or parts of this ordinance shall, for any reason, be questioned in any court and shall be Judged unconstitutional or invalid, such judgment shall not affect. Impair or invalidate the remaining proislons thereof. Section 14. In view of the increase In building activity within the City of Kanab, and in view of the pending development, it Is the opinion of the City Council that an emergency exists and that peace, health, safety, and general welfare of Kanab City and its inhabitants require that this ordinance should take effect immediately.
