North Salt Lake resident' Mary Ellen Smoot hopes it will help change the way the world sees the traditional family. Smoot attended and spoke at the World Congress of Families II held Nov. 14-- 17 in Geneva. Switzerland. She related to the more than 1,500 delegates the story of her husband's family. Years ago, Stan Smoot's family bred and raised pure bred Jersey cattle on their farm in Centerville. Smoot said her husband's family prided themselves on their cattle and did everything the) could to protect them.
