Michael and Yvonne Nordberg, spent a week in Grand Junction, Colo, this month where they hauled in a truckload of medals at the Western Zone Championships. OLSON Clipper Today Staff Writer A finally (almost) healthy Davis team and a young, Layton team kept things interesting as long as possible Tuesday in region soccer action. The young Lady Lancers kept the Darts within reach until a successful penalty kick awarded to Davis put the Darts up by one with under five minutes left in the game. Sophomore Nicole Iverson put the penalty kick away for the Darts, after forward Krystal Stanger was taken down in the box. The goal made the final tally "The girls were disappointed to lose on a penalty kick because we had come back and were playing fairly well, said Layton coach, Nancy Christensen. Along with the injuries from the game, Jordan Crapo, a junior, tore her ACL while playing Mountain View. She joins Haley Robinson, a senior, who tore her ACL last spring.
