ARTHUR FIELDS SENIOR STAFF WRITER In the end, we all deserve choices, or so believes Diana Graff, dean and director of the SUU Library. Graff is of course referring to the rear end and the choices she is offering come in the form of chairs for the new library, scheduled to open in first day of spring quarter 1996. Eighteen chairs of various sizes, shapes, and colors are now on display in the current Library awaiting the inspection of students, faculty, staff, and administrators. "We just want everyone to have a choice in the matter," Graff said. "They're the ones who are going to be sitting in them, so they ought to like them." The chairs, which come from nine different manufacturers, range in styles from classic to modem design and are divided into three distinct categories; upholstered without arms, unupholstered without arms, and armed chairs both with and without arms.
