Refreshments were served. Mrs. Martha Atkinson and and her son Allen motored to Clarkston, Wash., to visit Mrs. Atkinson s sister who is seriously ill. They returned home via San Francisco and Reno. A few days later Mrs. Atkinson picked up her son Victor and family of Roy on a trip in Southern California, where they visited with friends and rela LUJVI CO. Miss Dorothy Appolairie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Laurencc Appolarie of Riverdale was married recently in the Salt Lake Temple to Mr. Kenneth L. Gomm. Willard L. Jones performed the ceremony in the presence of the two families and a few close friends. That evening a reception was held in the Lakeview Stake - house. The bride wore a gown of her own creation, white-lac- e over .satin with a fitted bodice, long sleeves tapering to a point over the wrist and a Peter Pan collar. Her fingertip veil was crowned with orange blossoms. The bridal bouquet was white carnations and gardenies. Mrs. Jimmy Var was matron of honor with Miss Betty Ship-ley- . as bridesmaid, and Mrs. John Evans and Mrs. Jensen Bingham as attending matrons They were dressed in pastel gowns and carried bouquets of pink and white carnations. Serving as best man was an uncle of the bridegroom, Wayne Tippets. The mothers of the bridal couple wore street-lengtdresses of turquoise crepe, their corsages were white gardenias.
