HUD a The Utah Transit Authority has revamped its Salt Lake area bus schedules and routes as of Monday, October 9, said John Rankin, UTA general manager. The major change will be in the number of routes, from 16 to 28, which will offer more adequate service within the areas of Midvale, Murray, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County and South Salt Lake. The new system will mean new service in the areas of Morton Meadows, Glendale, Chesterfield (Redwood area) and at the new St. Mark's Hospital at 13th East and 39th South. Route schedules for all 28 routes, plus the revised route of the entire area serviced by the UTA, will appear in the Salt Lake Tribune on Sunday, October 8 and the Model Neighborhood News will carry routing information affecting the model neighborhood in the next issue. |
