Area leaders will be selected with the new director The Redwood Community Council, August 7, at the Redwood Service Center, established an ad hoc screening committee comprised of five council members with the special task of selecting a Community Organization Director. The committee will use the criteria decided upon by the Council to select the community director, who when chosen will have a staff of area leaders, to be selected after the Director is appointed. Afton Kinney, council member, said that the position of Community Director is available for application from any resident of Redwood and that the director's job will be one of support for the council in the The latter's decision-making. director's job will pay $500.00 per month. The draft enlists Model Cities support in the funding of the organization.
