Show ! s From the . . . . Concert Superb Declares Public Under the able direction of Fred Webb, the chorus classes presented their annual Christmas Concert Wednesday evening, December 14, at 8:1a pm., in the Joseph Smith Auditorium. The program began with a small ensemble of girls in matching green dresses singing "Carol of the Mistletoe Singers," "While S h e p h e r d s Watched Their Flocks," and "Angels with Celestial Voices." The curtain then opened to show the chorus groups. The Concert Chorus presented three lovely numbers. Martha Anderson, chorus president, then gave a lovely scriptural reading telling of the birth of Jesus Christ. Following Martha, the Junior Ensemble, consisting of seventh, eighth, and ninth graders, sang three exquisite Christmas numbers. The eighth grade chorus then sang three selections, with Ronnie Clark taking the lead in one of them. After the eighth grade, we again heard from the girls' ensemble. It covers down through the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. It was done in a Negro dialect. Mr. Benson assisted the class by taking the part of the Lord.
