Show Homecoming Schedule 1960-6- 1 Yld Cat Page 2 Noon Activities Draw Large Crowds The activities planned for this' Homecoming are way out, man. All week for the ritual are plan-- : ned events which are proving to be enjoyable to all. Every noon some mood music has been play-- 1 ed with many good announce-- ; ments setting the scene for the dance and other features of Homecoming. Every day, with the exception of Thursday, we were furnished with a skit or other presentation. We wish to extend special thanks to Doug Pond who vol- - unteered to make arrangements with KEYY radio and get the selections from "Moments to Remember," which we have been enjoying. With the best knowledge of the staff at the time of publication, we now give you a record of the fun you had this week, during the 1960 Homecoming: Monday: The five contestants for Queen were in an introduction ceremony conducted on the front steps. Election speeches were made by the nominating party in each instance. T u e s d a y: The cheerleaders presented a skit which was a mock football game. The two girls in the cheerleading section this year joined with the cheer HOOVERS leaders of last year and divided into teams representing Uintah and BY. High in a football game, with B. Y. High emerging victorious. Some boys of the Student Council performed routines, which were not such high steps! Friday: The music and skits which have been presented at noon all week were terminated. To finish off the glorious day we have the Homecoming game and dance, which will leave wonderful memories for another year. FRIDAY College Hall. Having DANCE Those interested in beginning, intermediate or advance work in all popular dances Cleats Clash As B. Y. vs. Uintah Through the years, B.Y. High has had a rivalry almost unequalled with the Uintah strong boys. This game has always proven to be one of of the greatest them all. So far this season, Uintah has taken sound drubbings at the hands of A.F. and Carbon, and have squeaked out a few close ones. They will be out especially hard to try to ruin our Homecoming, but we will be stronger than ever before to meet the challenge placed before us. non-conferen- eye-catche- rs Habits are like a bed . . . easy to get into and hard to get out of.
