Exciting no? No, not when you are the girl thats bouncing. In case you cant guess Love P. E. Class Hoop Season As the snow begins to fall, and fur coats are brought out to keep warm, the thoughts of sjiorts fans throughout the nation and especially B. Y. High, turn lightly to basketball So this writer was granted an interview with Rex Olsen, head basketball coach of the Wildcats. To insure the 'Cats of a least a mediocre season, the Y will have back the services of Stan Collins, who should be one of the best in B basketball Collins is deadly from the side, and is also a good backboard man, because of lus height, which reaches 6 2. Although Collins is the only proven player, Ab Christensen, who is also 6'2', plays from the forward slot. He and Collins should provide a good one-tw- o punch. With these two as a nucleus, Olson will have returning letter-me- n in Eldon Lloyd, Jim Dun-for- d and Scott Thomas. These five may compose the starting lineup, and should prove one of the powers in the Alpine division. As you probably know, it takes more than five men to make up a squad, so Olson will have a very promising group of sophomores, and if these sophomores come through, the 'Cats will definitely be among the contenders for the Alpine title The Y starts off the season against Delta at Delta, on December 1. Those flashy cavemen raced to a advantage over the Wildcats with a lot of help from their ace Max Pierce. He was the ball carrier for four of the touchdowns. The Wildcats just couldn't keep Caveup with the Region-leadin- g men, and so they received their second defeat of the season. 33-- 0 1 mit. Jan. This is really a neat class, especially racing up to the Stadium in wool skirts and sweaters in the blistering sun. In a recent poll that was taken, it was found that Phys. Ed. is the favorite class of most of the Senior High girls. The following is what a Phys. Ed. day is like for a B. Y. High girl. The day starts off as any other day, with the exception of a few hectic hours trying to wash and iron her gym clothes and cleaning her shoes to appear tidy in class. Then she runs to school and when the bell rings ending the class, she grabs her clothes from the locker and speeds up to the stadium. Arriving there sweating but full of spirit for the fun in store, she imps into her clothes and runs out to the lawn to have her name checked on the roll. After about 20 minutes the roll calling is finished and she jumps up and does calisthenics for 10 more minutes Then she is in shape for the games. Soccer is it, and she boldly marches out into full view of the boys and prepares to line up The ball is kicked and down the field rushes every girl to g it for her side After down the field jbmit tw ce .she heais the whistle ,u,d to 'll1' lei ker room she runs 2 All Op ener To men B.
