Braithwaite Jr., son of Paul and Pam Braithwaite, Salina, has been called to serve in the Spain Seville Mission. His farewell will be Sunday, July 29, 1990 at 2:50 p.m. in the Salina Stake Center. Friends and relatives are invited to the family home from 6 to 8 p.m. that evening. Paul is a 1989 graduate of Jerry Wayne Norton and Cheong Jin Shan recited wedding vows in the Manti LDS Temple Saturday, July 14, with ITesident Lee Barton performing the ceremony. Jerry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Norton, Ephraim and Gary and Joy Fountaine, Washington, Utah. North Sevier High School where he was an honor student for four years, student body president, and a member of the football, basketball, and baseball teams. He is an LDS Seminary graduate and an Eagle Scout. He has completed his freshman year at Snow College. Siu Oi Wa of Hong Kong is mother of the bride. Following the temple ceremony, the newlyweds were honored at a luncheon at the Manti House Inn followed by a later reception at the Manti House Gazebo. Mickelson Jan. 14, 1989. operated a wheat threshing business with Frank Garbe. He was a mechanic in Manti and retired after 40 years with the Utah State Road Commission 3 (UDOT) as District Maintenance Supervisor. Rulon was an active high priest in the LDS Church having served in many church callings throughout his life, and was very appreciative of being a home teacher through age 90. Andrea Rae Smyth was bom to Verla and David Smyth in Londonderry, Northern Ireland on June 28th. She is the couples first child and weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz.
