Shauna Clark - Miss Tooele County Former Manti girl named Miss Tooele County Shauna Clarke, a brown-eye- d blonde from formerly of Stansbury Park, Manti, was chosen last Saturday evening from a field of nine contestants as Miss Tooele County 1991. Obituaries Colion John Madsen Erma LaRue Nielsen Olsen Erma LaRue Nielsen Olsen, 83, died Saturday, June 29, 1991, at St. Benedicts Hospital in Ogden, Utah of complications 1 : 'v4'- - .Is ' a j tfl resulting from cancer. She was born July 25, 1907 in Manti, a daughter of David F. Nielsen and Mary Olivia Peterson. She graduated from Manti 30, 1935. Erma and Rulon were blessed with five children. The first two children, Thelma Erma Olsen and Robert Rulon Olsen, both died when they were very young. Erma was left widowed June 1961 with three children who 14, are still living: Lee R. Olsen, Arizona; Glen J. Olsen, Clinton, Utah and Phylis Krantz, Salt Lake City. Also surviving are her sister Christie Shultz, Salt Lake City and brother Wallace Nielsen. Erma was an active member of the LDS Church. She held many church positions over the years, but her favorite was leading music which she did for nearly 30 years. She also wrote articles for the Manti Messenger and was a former President of the Manti Ladies Literary Club. Erma loved the people of Manti for their friendship and support over many years.
