Mr. Anderson will assume the managers position of the Manti Branch of Zions. Former manager Kim Anderson will move into the Commercial Loan Dept, of the bank. Anderson was employed by Zions Bank prior to becoming County Auditor. His resignation will make it qualified and interested in the sition. po- The Republican Central Committee will meet at the County Courthouse on Thursday, Jan. at 7 p.m. to select those three per1 1 sons. Individuals interested in the position of County Auditor should be in attendance and be nominated and seconded by a Republican necessary for the Sanpete County Commission to appoint a new Central Committee member to be considered. All appropriately nominated candidates will be given time to address the Central Committee relative to their desire County Auditor. US West will modify system to initiate Extended Area Service Recent action was taken by Ephraim City to petition the Public Service Commission of Utah (PSC) for extended area service (EAS) between Ephraim and Mt. Pleasant. The PSC responded on December 7th by issuing an order to US West Communications to undertake the system modifications necessary to establish EAS between the two communities, located only 15 miles apart.
