To qualify their must have completed one year of college (bachelor's applicants degree and tutoring experience preferred) and have a high level of proficiency and be competent to oversee and tutor study groups in at least one of the following courses: English, mathematics (including calculus), biology, physics, foreign language, psychology, and computers. Applicants must have good social and communication skills, and experience planning and supervising recreational activities for adolescents and EMTfirst aid certification a big plus. Duties will include living in with program participants and supervising, tutoring, counseling, recreational and cultural program opportunities.
