The tour will be December 4 from 10 a m. to 5 p.m. An incorrect date was reported earlier. Tickets cost $5 and all proceeds will benefit the Sub for Santa pro-gra- m. The tour includes many homes that have deep roots in Sapete County, and have been painstakingly and lovingly restored as bed & breakfasts. Offerings range from the pioneer setting at the Ephraim Homestead with its log cabins and bam lofts to luxurious estates at the Yardley Inn in Manti, The Yardley Inn is housed in a structure built in the S90s. Twelve years ago, Gil and Pauline Yardley turned the home into a bed & breakfast. The home has two luxury, three-roosuites w with tubs and complete hirlpool The suites also have fireplaces. balconies and skylights. 1 m & breakfast out of the home. It has two balconies, stone columns and gingerbread trim. It also boasts a tower, entry portico, stained glass windows and multiple roof shapes. James Larsen was a sheep rancher, and his family was the first in the area to have a built-i- n bathtub. Another historic stop on the tour is the Pherson House in Ephraim. The Victorian cottage was built in 1895 by Willard Pherson. It has picture and stained glass windows and an ornamental front porch. The house is also famous for being the storage place of paintihgs by C.C.A. Christensen. The pioneer paintings were once kept in the homes basement. When Karen and Bruce Glaser opened a bed & breakfast in the home, some of their first guests were descendants of the Christensen family. In all, 1 1 local bed & breakfasts will take part in the tour.
