As Scrooge completes his metamord miser to phosis from generous celebrant, the audience sees that Christmas has the power BSg UStlXP gjXDCGO mean-spirite- to change them all. Baker has a background in professional and educational theatre and has been a member of Actors Equity Association for 2 1 years. He has performed in regional, stock, touring companies, film and television. A 1976 BFA graduate of Utah State University with an MFA from Ohio University, Baker directed the Utah Shakespearean Festivals Greenshows and Feaste from 985 through 1989, and returned the 1998 season. He was responsible for the Festival Feaste from its conception and hosted it for six years. At present he can be seen nightly in Tournament of Kings as Magical Merlin at the Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas. Presented by the Snow College Convocation Program, One Christmas Carol takes place on Wednesday, December 1 , at 8 p.m. in the Crane Theatre. On Thursday, December 2, Baker will present the Convocation at 12:30 p.m. in the Crane Theatre. His lecturedemonstration extols the power of the performing arts to affect the heart and mind.
