Since the time has lapsed for continuing the suit, the city has received several inquiries as to if the 8:00 a.m. siren test will be reinsti- tuted. There is a considerable division of opinion in regard to testing the siren each morning. The council is divided as to the daily testing based on inconvenience and negative impact on people living near the siren and others who miss the tradition and daily time set of the siren. The city council is asking for citizen input concerning the siren and to aide in this input a poll is being taken in Manti City. This opinion poll is being facilitated by the utility bills that were mailed on December 1st. In the message section of the utility bill, each household in the community will have the chance to vote either to have the siren (SIREN YES ) to or continue the way we are without the siren tested each morning ). Citizens are urged to complete this poll to help guide (SIREN NO city officials in their decision. OPY A.P.R. CD SPECIAL!!! 5.75 A.P.Y.
