A reception will honor them that evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Orem Sharon Second Ward Chapel, 641 South 400 East. The bride-to-b- e graduated from Okemos High School and studied at BYU majoring in history. Her fiance graduated from Orem High School and served a mission in the Buenos Aires South, Argentina Mission. He is a recent graduate of BYU, majoring in chemistry. Maid of honor is Holly Lowry and bridal attendants are Leslie Richardson and Alisa Woolley. Best man is Kevin Woolley. Following their marriage, the SHANNON MARIE LOWRY AND ADAM THOMAS WOOLLEY couple will move to Berkeley, California, to continue their schooling. Caryn Christensen to wed Jon Erik Ashton in Temple Caryn Christensen, daughter of Douglas K and Linda S. Christensen, of Orem, will marry Jon Erik Ashton, son of Marlowe K and Kathleen E. Ashton, of Orem, on Wednesday, May 20, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will honor the couple that evening, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Wilkinson Center Skyroom at BYU. The bride-to-b- e graduated from Mountain View High School and LDS Seminary. She is currently attending BYU majoring in elementary education. Her fiance also graduated from Mountain View High School and LDS Seminary. He served in the France Paris LDS Mission and will attend BYU in the summer majoring in Psychology. Bridal attendants are Camille Christensen, Lisa Ashton, Sheri Peterson, Kim Sheen and Cindy Allen. Best man is Dave Finnegan with Jeff Barrett, Coray Christensen, and Tom and David Ashton attending. She has also served in various positions in the Council and in the GFWC of Utah. The General Federation of Womens Clubs is an international organization and is the oldest and largest womens volunteer Quilt Guild to meet May 20 the General Federation of Womens Clubs of Utah at the state convention held in Provo on May 7, 8, and 9. Her assignment includes membership activities in the 35 federated clubs in the state. She has set a goal for both retention and recruitment of members. She just completed a term as state treasurer.
