Norma Preece 376-87- Mrs. Zelma Breeze has her sister Mrs. Della Nelson from Fremont, Utah staying with her for a few weeks. Mrs. Nelson is convalescing after undergoing major surgery last week. Houseguests of Mr. and Mrs. Bud Tice are Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas of Enroute home they spent time sightseeing in various areas. Mrs. Lyle Larkins under- went major surgery Monday' at the McKay hospital in Alhambra, California and their daughter Mrs. Linda of Cooper and son Tommy Mission Viejo, California. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stuart have returned home from Denver, Colorado where they spent two weeks with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Forsyth. School Libraries Open Once again the libraries in all elementary schools in the Davis District, except the Bountiful Elementary School where remodeling activities are underway this summer, will be open one morning per week during the first three weeks in August. PARENTS ARE urged to encourage their children to visit the library in an effort to maintain their reading skills at a high level. Interesting activities to help stimulate interest in reading will be going on at each school but the prime purpose of the program is to give children a chance to read books of their own choice to help occupy a few minutes each day in an uplifting and profitable way.
