They enjoyed the Los Angeles area, Disneyland and all points of interest and also the San Diego area including the Sacrament meeting to hear former their mission president. They presided over the Rapid City, South Dakota LDS Mission at the time Mrs. Giles and her late husband, Mr. and Mrs. Kennington served on their famous San Diego Zoo. Mr. and Mrs. Vene B. Collett recently vacationed in Gallop, Mexico where they vsited with their son Brent Collett and spent time sightseeing in that area. BETWEEN June 17 and July 8, 400 potential Utah voters residing within the second Congressional District were asked: Which of the 2nd Congressional District candidates would you like to see win the election as Congressman. THE RESPONSES were: Allan Howe 33 percent, Alan Chandler 5 percent, J. Preston Hughes 4 percent, Dan Marriott 7 percent, G. Barry Nielson 7 percent. Undecided 44 percent. Our last poll showed Allan Howe with a 46 percent vote rating. That was an overall rating and about 20 points lower than it was when we began our poll June 5, just prior to Howes arrest. His opponents haven't picked up much of the votes, but the large percentage of unde-cideseems to indicate that they will, once voters grt to ds 30 included Bennetts of Mrs. family.
