PLEASAN- T- Central Utah Counseling Center will be holding their monthly Authority Board Meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 5.30 p m. in the basement of Days Inn, Richfield, located at 333 North Main. FOUNTAIN GREE- N- Sewer Rates, sewer lagoon project and a water service request were among the items discussed in a Dec w council meeting presided over by Councilman Dan Naylor, mayor pro tern, in the absence of Mayor Dean Hansen Sewer rates Tim Beavers, state official, rewrote the city ordinance to match the city billing practice, where divided city expenses for each month repay loans, operate and repair the system, and emergency funds The total came to $25 per household, leaving the bulk of users at that amount, with two smaller categories created of $15 and $35 per month intended to help elderly and family users, who use less water and the other category for large families and other heavy water users Sunrise representative, Bruce Ward, said the changes in wording still have to be approved by other state officials Sewer lagoon project A motion was passed by the council upon recommendation by Ward to pass a ordinance that accepts the lowest quality bidder, fdr the sewer lagoon project, but incorporates a provision of final approval based on state acceptance from the State single-memb- er state-provid- MT. Those listed are a son, Rex Allan Nielson, to Desiree and Rusty Neilson, Mt Pleasant, son, Brcnden David Blackham, to Dianne and David Blackham, Mt Pleasant, and a son, Kaden Eugene Parish, to Kristina and Marty Parish, Mt Pleasant Number Forty-Nin- e Water Quality Board, Sunrise's recommendation and within allowable project budget Water service Cody Allred, resident asked the council how he could get water services to his planned home to be built just outside city limits He was told he would have to procure a full share of water, turn it over to the city, and pay the $795 dollar hook-u- p fee He was also told the impact fee would be waived because the share of water took care of impact on the city reserves Council person Gilgen mentioned of a full share of water costing $3,000 dollars and a recent sale of a e for $2,500 half-shar- Allred also asked about a road to his proposed site The council replied that they would take care of it to the city limits, but he would have to do the rest himself Allred requested the instruction in writing Another resident, Neil Draper, also on the agenda, h asked about costs for a water line to his farm where it didnt cross the city limits two-inc- Miscellaneous Naylor informed the council of a nght-awa- y ordinance provided by the state. He said there was no hurry to adopt it and members wanted a chance to read the ordinance before a vote Naylor directed the ordinance be put on next months agenda, so no action was taken. Pro-ter- n Councilman Scott Callard told council members that he talked to a Heber City official about getting a sewer extension policy that matched the citys intended policy Councilman Lewis Rasmussen reminded him of the citys complaint with Glenwood City for Fountain Greens borrowing ordinance without permission and suggested he get a written okay form Heber if he use any part of their policy Councilperson Mary Gilgen informed the council of the states "Officials Day" and said that the Youth City Council and council were invited to attend a meeting on Jan 20 Councilman Lewis Rasmussen suggested buying new crossing light controllers instead of trying to adapt the one donated by Naylor He maintained it would save time, money and the new controllers came in their own weather-proo- f boxes Rasmussen also discussed truck parkchanging the ing ordinance wording Suggestions made were changing the wording to include "registered gross weight" and "combination vehicles" to cover which dont have a listed gross weight The change is meant to make the ordinance more enforceable Rasmussen will make changes to the ordinance and intends to bring the revised ordinance to the next meeting semi-traile- rs send- MT.
