Show December 13, 1995 - The Pyramid - Page Three Annette Blackham, Brian Kelley wed in Manti LDS Temple MORONI-- - Mr. and Mrs. Ross Blackham announce the marriage of their daughter, Annette, to Brian Patrick Kelley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kreig B. Kelley, Midvale, on Friday, Dec. 15, 1995, in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Moroni LDS Stake Center. The bride is a graduate of North Sanpete High School and LDS Seminary. She is currently a student at Snow College majoring in elementary education. The bridegroom is a graduate of Hillcrest High School and LDS Seminary and has served an LDS mission to the Canary Islands. He is also a graduate of Snow College and is now attending Weber State University where he is majoring in hospital administration. The couple will continue their education at Weber State University and will make their home in Ogden. Brian Kelley and Annette Blackham LaRay, Mathel Anderson honored on golden anniversary WALE- S- LaRay and Mathel Anderson, who were married on Dec. 20, 1945, were honored by their children with a 50th anniversary celebration. The couple met in Wales just days after he had with the U.S. Army completed his during World War II. LaRay was bom in Wales and spent his entire life there. Mathel was bom in Lyman, WY, but came to Wales to visit her sisters. They built their home in Wales and raised six sons there. They have been active in the LDS Church and were married in the Manti LDS Temple. Their children are: Russell, Guy and Spencer, all of Logan; Lester, Fountain Green; Neal, West Jordan; and Ivan, deceased. They have six laws; 21 grandchildren and one tour-of-du- ty daughter-in-- Melissa Bailey, R. Clint Jensen exchange temple vows great-grandchil- d. Clint Jensen, son of Evin and Elaine Jensen, Fairview, on Saturday, Dec. 16, 1995, in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Moroni LDS Stake Center. The bride is ,a graduate of North Sanpete High School and is currently attending Snow College. The bridegroom is a graduate of North Sanpete High School and served an LDS mission in Omaha, NE. He is currently employed by TBM Construction. The couple wili make their home in Mt. Pleasant. The meeting was conducted by Captain Arlene Farnsworth. Keena Rasmassen led the singing of "Utah Our Own Beloved Homeland." Two new- members were welcomed into the organization, Shirley Millgate and Joe Ann Johnson. The Christmas party will be held on Dec. 13, at the Senior Citizen Center in Moroni. A pioneer history was given by Edna Christensen about her greatgrandmother Sarah Gordon who came to Utah in 1850 and died in Fountain Green in 1872, at the age of 91. A lesson was given by Kenna Rasmussen entitled "Governors of the Territory of Utah. This was a history of the 15 governors that served before statehood. Refreshments were served by Edna Christensen and Verdeen Jacobson. Ftn Green news The Parent Teachers Organization recently held a December bazaar. Handmade items were sold along with clam chowder, rolls and desert. The bazaar was under the direction of Rhonda Davis, Susan Jacobson, Shelith Jacobson, Denice Aagard, Heather Papenfuss, Karla Coombs, and Leslie Shaw. PLEASAN- T- Family and friends will honor Norene Christensen Syndergaard Shradeja with an 80th birthday open house on Dec. 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Center. She was bom on Dec. 19, 1915, in Jerusalem to Arthur and Clara Christensen. In 1935 she married Elmer Syndergaard and moved to Mt. Pleasant. After his death, she married Joseph Shradeja.
