Anderson Wins Employee Award A complimentary letter from a local businessman won Utah Division of Wildlife Resources employee Bruce Andersen of Layton, the Utah Public Employees Association Courtesy is Contagious Award for November. IM ALWAYS very impressed with the fine treatment I receive from your office, Midvag told Day, especially from Bruce Andersen. This mans helpfulness and professional attitude is beyond reach. He is always kind, and willing to go the extra mile. We are all fortunate to have him. Andersen, a Layton resident, is credited with developing progressive public information programs within the Division and with initiating regular radio spots to better serve the publics needs. He started with the Division in January, 1983. ANDERSEN, who works as an information specialist in the Divisions Information and Education Section, received the award Thursday during a special recognition ceremony at the Salt Lake Wildlife Resources office. In addition to a certificate signed by the governor, Andersen received a $50 savings bond. In a nomination letter addressed to former Division Director Dougg las F. We will agree to Commissioner Saunders statemeht. There are some level headed men on the board. We do not accept Wil Jefferies and certain other Commissioners position which push the bum plant on us by force with their uses of falsified inflated figures. They only feed information that they feel board members ought to hear and do not present the full information they should hear. Jefferies seems to have a magical computer that gives figures to satisfy the need for every meeting. THE COMMISSIONERS would have officials believe people do not count. Bonds are not money. Less garbage is better than more. Debts and risks always win. Real people do not pay for plant. Its phantom users that pay. When the time comes and it will, to pay back bond deficiencies, operation and cost deficiencies, reality will strike. You will find out people and users are the same. Bonds and debts are pay back money, and money is money. When Mr. Jefferies magical computer tells you a plant has 400 tons and reality says you have 185 tons, that is more than half less garbage. When Mountain Fuel charges $2.32 per thousand lbs., and Hill AFB gets it for 10 percent less than market price and Jefferies computerized chart indicates $6.09 per thousand lbs. Thats highly speculative plus nearly two thirds less money and reality. When Jefferies chart shows cost likely bankruptcy-tha- ts to convert a ton of garbage to steam equals $77 and you have one month of heavy steam useage, two months medium, two months light and 7 months with no steam, thats disastrous but reality. When two recent charts show a difference of $7 million in costs year. He is out in left field. When a plant within one week is estimated at $29 million to build and suddenly goes to $35 million, he is guessing and who knows the cost. WHEN OFFICIALS start spending money, they never stop themselves. If they stop, its because somebody faces reality and stops them. I hope the level heads of the district board will stop them. It will not come from the head of a commissioner. They are unchangeable. Somebody needs to stop the magical computer. Reality is now. Money is money. Kenneth Reed Clearfield milk.
