May 24. 392 Clearfield High School seniors received graduation diplomas from Bruce Parry, Davis Count v School Board member. CLASS VALEDICTORIAN, Mark Cook, introduced the commencement theme. "Reflections" by saying "My reflections at dawn had begun. ..My parents said take our hands. Mark. Let us show you." Mark went on to list some of the things he learned from parents and the beauty of music teachers through playing and singing, the sacredness of the world through gardening, the splendid properties of the mind through reading and listening. He concluded his challenging talk by quoting Carlysle. "Let each become all that he was created capable of being. THREE Salutatorian speeches followed the introduction of the "Reflections at Dawn" theme established by Mark Cook. They were given by Cory Birt. Ann Dickamore and Dawn Marshall. A musical selection was furnished by the senior concert choir. EVE PORTER, Valedictorian, spoke to the theme "When is an education complete?" She mentioned the many learning experiences she had during her formal education including calculus, type, child development and the many academic classes.
