Clark Essay Contest at Brigham Young age group., University for the category. NATHAN will receive a booklet containing the winning essays of the contest and his name listed among those receiving this honor. Nathans essay was written on his Most Unforgetable Character, his grandfather, Verl Walker of Kaysville. NATHAN IS active in the Cub -- 1 Scouting program and is a Tenderfoot in the Blazer Scouts. He has Arrow of Light award in cub scouting (the highest award that can be earned in the cub program) and also has received his Faith in God" award. THE RESERVE officers have begun working a minimum of 20 hours per week with the supervision of regular officers in the patrol division and in other areas where extra police personnel is needed. The reserve officers are Larry Millward, Jim Maguire. Kurt Kennedy, Sharon Beckett, Bill Chilson and Todd Bates. LAYTON HAS two other reserve officers. They are Frank Cline, a reserve police man since 1969 and Dave Pollard, a transfer reserve officer from the Syracuse police department.
