Susan Dutson FILLMORE Marge Barton by STELLA DAY Since I was secretary to the Board of the Fillmore Hospital for 15 years, and since we are contemplating the building of a new hospital, to be Saints supported by taxation instead of the Latter-da- y Church, as our hospital was when I was secretary, I thought it might be Interesting to print a copy of the minutes of the Board Meeting at that time. Minutes of the Board Meeting of the Fillmore LDS Hospital Fillmore, Utah, September 8, 1966 The Members of the Board of Trustees of the Fillmore LDS Hospital met in the Millard Stake House Sept. 8, 1966 at 11:30 a.m. with President Roy D. Olpin presiding and conducting the meeting. The minutes of the Board Meeting held July 13 were read and approved. Opening prayer, President Roy D. Also thanks to Olpin Mortuary for the wonderful job they did, and a thank you to special Beckstrand, Dorothy Evan Anderson, and the First Ward Relief Society for the lovely lunch. Olpin. Superintendent Howard Johns presented the members of the Board with a list of accounts owed to the hospital which he has done all in his power to collect. These accounts have all been turned over to a collection agency, but as yet no results. President Ashby Robison made the motion that these accounts be written off the books, but that efforts to collect these debts be continued. Motion seconded and passsed. The financial report for August was presented to the Board by Supt. Howard Johns and the following items noted: Loss for August: $791.89, loss for year to date $3,791.91. Cash on hand: $26,864.94.
