Mr. Larsen was general agent for Benficial Life Insurance Company in Boise for two years, and agent for the same company for 30 years. He was a rancher in Shelley, Idaho, from 1915 to 1948. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints, he served as Stake Superintendent of the MIA, High Councilman in Shelley Stake, Bishop of Goshen Ward, Shelley Stake, for 8 years. Surviving are sons and daughter, Jay Rapael Larsen; Idaho Falls, Idaho; Don B. y Larsen, Burbank, California, Mrs. Franklin R. (Arcilee) LaPier, Rexburg, grandchildren; 18 Idaho; 20 great- grandchildren; two brothers and a sister, James Berkeley Lar- Firth, Idaho; Joseph Faireld Larsen, Las Vegas, sen, Nevada; Mrs. Richard D. (Ina) Jones, Mt. Pleasant. His oldest son, A. Springy ille 4896681 Mrs. Jensen was admired by all those who knew her for her creativity, her personal charm and vitality, and her strong testimony of the Church. Over the years she contributed many hours of time and effort in the service and well being of her fellowman. A talented seamstress, she worked many hours helping other women with sewing and other skills. She was especially talented in making new clothes from used items and did it in the highest fashion. She was noted throughout the State and in many other areas for her creative and unusual hats. Among the awards she received for her work was a first place award presented to her by the Utah State Woolgrowers at the annual convention in Salt Lake City. At seventeen she was given the coveted honor of being the Goddess of Liberty at Fairviews annual Independance Day Celebration which at that time was a big annual celebration in Fairview. She worked eleven years in the Relief Society in both the ward and stake. She served as President of the North Ward Relief Society and also served as work leader and in the social science departments. She was instrumental in compiling the 100 year history of the Relief Society in Fairview which was published several years ago. She was a teacher in the Sunday School and MIA and served as President of the Primary and filled a Stake mission. Following her marriage in 1917 she lived two years in Sunnyside and then spent the rest of her life living in Fair-vieShe worked with her husband in the lumber business and later in the restaurant and grocery business. During the past years they have owned and operated the Vair Vu Motel. include her Survivors sons, husband, Fairview; daughter, Max L. St. Louis, Missouri; Jack L., American Fork; Charles K., Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Earl (Elaine) Bowles, Nephi; Mrs. Kenneth V. (Betty) McKay, Salt Lake City; 14 grandchildren, 1 great- vocal Nielson; Bishop Lion Nielsen; speaker, President A. J. Anderson; hymn, combined choir; bene- diction, Reed Lasson and dedication of the grave by Arthur Nielsen. Pallbearers were Alton Jones, Ray Nielsen, Conrad Nielsen, Clark Nielsen, David Nielsen and Joseph Nielsen. Burial was in the Fairview. City Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers grandchild, brothers, sister, were Allan Jensen and Richard Mitchell, LeVern both Salt Lake Jensen.
