Pleasant, celebrated her 87th birthday anniversary Sunday at an open house at the home of her son, Harold J. Madsen in Midvale. Mrs. Christensen was born on March 1, 1872, in Ostrup, Denmark. She emigrated to the United States in 1918 making her h( me In Ephraim at first and later moving to Mt. Pleasant. She married Neplu Christensen in Manti in 1930. She is a member of the LDS Church and has been an active worker in the Relief Society. She has two sons, Harold J Madsen, Midvale and Jorgen P. Madsen, Mt. Pleasant. She also has fourteen grandchildren, 38 Mrs. Carrie Hosier of Ogden great grandchildren and two stepsons, Calvin N.
