Max and Altabeth Brunson and their families were in charge of the event, with Elliott and Cathy Brunson acting as Most of the chairmen. families arrived in Logan at the Colonial Mansion, Maxs wedding and photography center, on Friday night. That evening Max showed moving pictures reels of previous family outings and reunions dating all the way back to the early 40s. Saturday morning, a meeting of the Board members was held conducted by President Rollo H. Brunson. Future plans and other business matters were taken care of, including nominations of new officers. Dinner was served at noon in the garden area of the Mansion. The setting was enhanced with bubbling fountains, tall pines, and colorful flower beds. Following dinner, a program was presented in the lovely carpeted stage area of the center. All the little children enjoyed sitting or lying on the three circular stairs leading to the stage as they watched the performers. Maxs family members gave an hour of musical enjoyment; the little granddaughters danced. It was especially reminiscent to hear Max play his Hawaiian guitar. The afternoon was concluded by watching a Walt Disney movie and then everyone departed for their homes in California, Idaho, and Utah. Next years reunion will be held in the Ogden area under the direction of the descendants of Lorenzo and Isabelle Brunson.
