In regard to the animal you speak of, not. doing well, will say that shu is probably bothered with indigestion, indigest-ion, caused by decayed or irregular teeth. The mouth of this animal should be examined by a competent veterinarian and if the teeth need attention they should be worked on, reducing the irregularity and removing remov-ing the sharp points and decayed teeth if there arc any. The animal should receive a good laxative consisting con-sisting of one ounce of aloes with I one dram of powdered ginger, made into a pill and given at one dose. This should be repeated as often as necessary in order to keep the animal ani-mal in a good lax condition. Where the animal's food is not I ropcrly masticated conditions answering ans-wering to the description you give of your animal will arise. Remedy the cause and in all probability the I animal will get along alright. |
