Show Agriculture is not, as a profession, 1 afc remunerative as it ought to be, in view of the labor and energy tha. the farmer expends and the risks he assumes. Just why this is true is u little difficult to understand, but of this one thing we arc convinced that the faujr lies largely with the farmers farm-ers themselves. They need more thorough organization and a better working together for their common interests. It is true that there arc many farmers in this state who have good incqmes but there arc altogether altogeth-er too many who shiftlessly, carelessly, careless-ly, lazily drift along wholly indifferent indiffer-ent to the splendid opportunities waiting wait-ing the man of energy and push. |
