Last Friday Dr. and Mrs. Bertha McGregor came up and inoculated the children for dipthem. More than 200 took the treatment. There werg five cases of tonsils and adnoids operated on while they were here and all are getting along pretty well. We had Presidents Nicholes and Bentley with us in our sacrament meeting Sunday as home missionaries. We appreciate their visit very much and hope they will come again. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Murry have returned home from Salt Lake and northern points, where they have been visiting since Mr. Murry returned from his mission. We have had a rain storm and some little snow which melted a3 fast as it fell, but it stopped the dust and wind. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Moody and Misses Vera Seegmiler and Linda Larson spent the week end in Cedar City. Tonight the temple excursion committee are presenting the movie, Smilin Thru here. Woodbury and William T. Morris of St. George were missionaries here Sunday. They gave us very good talks which were thoroughly enjoyed by a big crowd. We hope they will come again. The schoo gave a program Thursday night in honor of Armistice day, which was followed by a dance. Eerybody gave it their support and it was very much enjoyed. David W. Lemmon and Austin Gifford returned today from the Zion sawmill, where they spent the past week sawing lumber. A garage is being built at the Zion Park cheeking station. Several men from town are working on it. A boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Arden Shiefer, Nov. 8, mother and babe doing well. A nice time was had. Springd-I- e. New Harmony, Nov. 14. A gloom was cast over our little town by the death of Joseph W. Adair at St. George, Nov. 9th. He has been a great sufferer for years and left his home in New Mexico In 1924, moving here in July 1925, thinking his health might improve. He was born June 17, 1SS1, at Nutrioso, Arizona, the son of George W. and Emily Tyler Adair. He moved to Hammond, New Mexico, with his parents when he was 17 years of age and lived there until Aug. 1924, moving then to Bluff, Utah, and then to New ' Harmony. He married Sarah A. Taylor of New Harmony in the Salt Lake temple, April 12, 1911. He is survived by his wife and five children. He was an active Church work--e- r in his home town, being a counselor in the Sunday school for years, also holding other offices. Funeral services were held over his remains at New- - Harmony, Nov. 10, Bishop Elmer Taylor presiding. The speakers were James E. Taylor. Clarence Englestead of New Harmony and Bp. Riley G. Williams and Rulon Flatt of Kanarra, all of whom spoke of the many good qualities of the deceased. He has made many friends here by his splendid character all of whom extend their sympathy to the bereaved widow and children. Mr. and Mrs. R. B.
