In 1974, Schofield received the Salt Lake Tribune Civic Beautification award for his Schofield Friendship He and his wife Garden. were also the sweethearts at Roy Days in 1976. Those surviving him include one son, Alvin L. Schofield of Salt Lake City and three daughters; Mrs. Walter D. (Dott) Adams, Ventura, Calif; Mrs. Leslie E. (Rosemary) Spencer, Clearfield, and Mrs. Blaine (Ellen) Houtz, Provo. He also has one sister, Ellen Sullivan of Salt Lake City. Schofield has 16 grand natural causes. Born March 18, 1887 in Centerville, he was the son of Lorenzo and Martha Barber Schofield. He then married Ivy May Dalton on June 22, 1910 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mrs. Schofield died Nov. 11, 1976. ROY Raymond Dubois Lutz, 63, of 2453 W. 5075 S , was dead on arrival Friday, Feb. 24, Benedicts at Hospital 1978, He was born Jan. at Blackfoot, Idaho; George Hanford Vila te Whittington Lutz Warren (Janice) Orton, Rancho Cordova, Idaho Falls, Idaho. The was later Calif.; 22 grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He had been a sheet metal mechanic at Hill Air Force Base for 12 years. He was a High Priest in the Roy 13th LDS Ward and was serving as secretary of the High Lothair Lutz, Mrs. Fred (Afton) Bradshaw; both of Blackfoot, Idaho; Mrs. Grant (Marjory) Sjostrom, Oxnard, Calif Priest the Myers Mortuary Chapel in Roy with Bishop Russell Miller of the Roy 13th Ward officiating. Priends may call at the mortuary Monday from 6 to 8 p m. and Tuesday prior to services. Burial will be in the Roy City Cemetery. Funeral services will held Tuesday at 3 p m., group. He was an active temple worker and had been secretary m the Elders Quorum and a Sunday School teacher. He had been scout master in the Layton 10th Ward.
