Well, girls might that boys around the age of ten dont. Years ago in the summer time when my cousin Joe used to play outside barefoot, Aunt Alma would tell him to wash his feet. He carefully washed the soles! "The only dirty part, he said. Michael used to wear long sleeved shirts winter and summer so he wouldnt have to wash his arms above the wrists. One day last year my nephew, Shawn, was playing with a dead bird which he proudly showed to his mother. When it came time for supper, she asked him to wash his hands. He did and came to the table still covered with grime. She again, patiently, sent him to wash his hands. He returned, still with visible grime. She ordered, less patiently, him to wash his hands . He returned for the third time, still with grimy hands . Ann pointed out to Shawn all the dirt on his hands and said, This is your last chance. Dont lie to me. Go wash your hands. Youve been playing with a dead bird!" He lifted his two fingers, practically saying, See. These fingers are clean. I only touched the bird with them. I dont need to wash my whole hand. Can you imagine the effort used to wash two fingers with soap, never letting the soap touch any other part of his hand? My son, Ray, was a problem to get to take a bath. After firm orders that he bathed or moved to the dog house, he would go in the bathroom run the water and return. I, in my role as chief detective, would go into the bathroom, inspect and pronounce judgment, The soap is dry. You did not bathe. Then, of course, he would go in wet the soap and come out. The great detectivewouldthen snarl, If you took a bath, all the towels are dry? The upshot was that he bathed in the evenings when his father was home. He ran the water, prepared himself and his father checked to see if he was in the tub. Ive found that boys love water in muddy irrigation ditches, sprinklers on the lawn or in a swimming pool, but in a porcelain bathtub it causes them to break out with some dreadful phobia. how come Hotline want you to feel welcome to call anytime. Zuech, 1079 W. 2100 S., Ogden My husband is a mechanic for Amcor Inc. In his spare time, though, he and the kids help their grandpa build a motel and restaurant which will be run by the family in Wilson Lane. It will be called the Big Z Motel & Glow Room Pancake, Steak and Dinner House. Our children run in age from 8 to 2 and a half years. We love to work as a family. We do everything we can together. The older boys even helped their father and grandpa build the house we live in which I think is special. The children all have their chores to do before they play. We also love to do things together such as, camping, fishing and rodeos. My husband loves to rodeo whenever he can, mostly broncs. I also used to rodeo in California before moving to Utah, as a barrel racer. I also love to sew for myself and my family. Kenny and Renae took second place in the MOTC sponsored look alike contest at the statef air . All of us who were there had a great time.
