Israelsen 11.1,42 south cache high school GRADUATES LARGE CLASS The South Cache Hieh School held its 32nd annual commence- - ment exercises Sunday, February 25 at 8 p. m. in the high school auditorium. Principal H. R. Adams con ducted the program in which 128 students- received diplomas. He was principal at the first commencement when only seven st wore graduated and has remained in that post during the Intervening years. David were Valedictorians Darley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Evan O. Darley of Wellsville and Muriel Nielsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Nielsen. (Butch) Gutke, former Aggie athlete and native of Smithfield will replace Cliff Poole end take over football- and track supervision at South Cache High School. Cliff Poole will coach at Logan Senior High Gutke was a graduate of North Cache High School and lettered four years in ' football, three in track and basketball, one in tennis and held squad captains positions in football, track and tennis. Poppy Day Successful Mrs. Loraine Allen, chairman of the Poppy Day drive wishes to thank the ladies of the Auxiliary and the girls from Hyrum and Paradise who helped sell the poppies. The drive went over 100 per cent. All the popples were sold and the wholehearted support is greatly appreciated. Hyrum Boys Win Reuben Hansen, of the annual Cache Valley Junior Fat Show held last Saturday at the fair grounds, reports that Hyrum reported in thle Courier last week that Mr. Elton Olsen had undergone an operation. The article should have stated that Mrs. Elton Olsen had been operated on. Mrs. Olsen has been very seriously sick, but she is now reported to be better, although still confined to the hospital.
