Paradise, Hyrum, THIRTY-FIFT- H LEGION A On YEAR SUCCESS Saturday night the re- turned service men and women of Hyrum and their partners and parents of the men who made the supreme sacrifice, and and the Hyrum City Council their wives enjoyed a banquet which was prepared by the American Legion and Auxiliary and which was served in the recreation hall of the Third ward. Mrs. Gladys Smith, Lillian Stoddard, Eva Smith, Isabelle Wilson and Myrtle Monson. Assisting in the preparation' of the food were Ophelia Wright, Lorraine Allen, Wanda Dunn, La-rePaul, Mrs. Dalton Reid, Laneth Carlson, La Rue Garner and Isabelle Wilson. S. A. Dunn is the commander of the Legion and Mrs. P. J. Carlson is president of the Auxne iliary. One hundred and sixty people enjoyed the banquet. FUNERAL RITES FOR KENNETH BROWN Impressive military services wehe held in the Hyrum Third ward chapel on Monday at 1 p. m. for Kenneth H. Brown of Oakland, California.
