The Kaysville Church of Christ, Flint Street, Kaysville, has scheduled a week of public Bible and invites the lessons, Aug. public to attend. The emphasis of the week-lonseries will be upon the Bibles message of salvation, and its use as the authoritative standard for ones life and relationship with God. Evangelist Bruce James of Baytown, Tex., will be the guest speaker for this event. Mr. James currently works with the Eastside Church of Christ in Baytown. He has devoted the past 15 years of his life to learning and teaching the gospel of Christ. Much of his preaching has been done throughout Texas, Arkansas, 137 S. 2-- 7, g ming in the Davis Area Vocational Centers electronics prog- ram. The new facilities will be formally dedicated Aug. with plans for Senator Orrin Hatch slated to attend. Registration for the Davis Young Parents School in Kaysville will be held Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. Returning students are scheduled to register Aug. 31 and new students are scheduled Sept. 1. Registration time for both days will be from 8:30 until 1 :30. Students are asked, if possible, to submit a transcript of grades from the school they last attended to the Davis Young Parents School prior to the date of registration. Otherwise they are required to bring the transcripts at the time they register. Any questions can be referred to Ann Benson or Kathryn Rives, who can be reached at the school after Aug. 25 by phoning or at 264 S. 500 E Kaysville, where the school is located. The Davis Young Parents school provides classes in all academic areas as well as classes in general home economics, prenatal care, childcare and family classes. This enables the students to complete requirements for high school graduation. The classes also help the student to cope with pregnancy and subsequent life changes by providing a warm, supporting facility where It's easy to stt idly by and complain or just do nothing at ail. The class is one of several housed in the new 65,000 square foot addition at the DAVC. Some $4 million was included in the project including $2.7 million for the building, $500,000 for equipment and $400,000 for landscaping.
