Here are just some of the ways a computer can help your child and everyone else in your clan: Computers give your kids the edge they need for future success, in school and in the business world. Computer literacy is mandatory in just about any industry these days. To kids, computers seem fun gadgets and they seem to learn how to use them very quickly. Computers can be educational tools. Kids can use a home computer to do their homework and print out professional looking reports reports that may get better grades than sloppy ones would. Special software helps children study and learn more in their spare time, from starting a new language to brushing up on English and math skills and studying for college boards. Popular with many parents and their children is the newly de- signed Commodore 64C, the worlds computer. Its one of the easiest-to-usmost inexpensive home computers on the market today, experts say. It lets you draw charts and diagrams in 16 colors, do word processing in a variety of type styles and sizes, even combines graphics and text capabilities to produce illustrated reports. Computers are great if your child writes a lot of letters to penpals, is a budding author or is tackling a term paper. best-selli- Central Davis Junior High Schools 9th grade officers for the 1987-8- 8 school year are: Danna Denning, left, secretary; Brook Anderson, vice president and Kristen Knowlton, president.
