Show DECEMBER 2. 1986 4-He- hold program rs The Davis County Horse Program held their second annual 4-- H Horsemanship Achievement Program this past week. The host club was the Saddle Dusters from Syracuse. s receiving horse halters as they were honored as overall high point individuals were: Carol Combe and Travis Hunt, age Tara Runions and group Danny Hansen, age group Kara Ritter and Davy Glade, age Jodi Goble and Ryan group Rogers, age group 8 and below. Ryan Rogers also received a belt buckle for the top sportsman of the year in the Davis County Four-Her- 14-1- 8; 12-1- 3; 4-- H LDS Horse program. Carol Combe, Tara Runions, Diane Williams and Jodi Goble were also recognized for taking first place in their respective age groups on their horsemanship tests. Kelly Goble, Carol Combe, Debbie Williams, and Judy Kern shared some memorable moments of this past year with the approximately 100 youth and parents that were in attendance. Melissa Fondario and Kelley Goble presented short demonstrations on their horse projects. Then each of the club leaders honored their club members for their accomplishments this past year. Clif Goble, President of the Horse Council, and Lynda RunHorse ions, secretary of the Council, received plaques for their service to the horse program. 4-- H 4-- H 4-- H Decorate with lh Irauty of Ray Alfred Millgate, 67, of 343 E. 2nd S., Kaysville, died Thursday, Nov, 27, 1986 at his home of emphysema. He was born Nov. 17, 1919 in Salt Lake City, a son of Alfred Henry and Bertha Irene Jenkins Millgate. He married Ellen Edwards Oct. 22, 1945 in Kaysville. He was chief of security at the Naval Base in Clearfield. He had 35 years of service with the U.S. Government. He was a lifelong resident of Kaysville. He graduated from Davis High School and attended Utah State Red II serving with the 2 1 3th Field Artillery of the U.S. Army. nia) Weber, Boise, Ida. ssionary Training Center on Wednesday, Dec. 17. He is a graduate of the Kaysville LDS Fern Kilburn succumbs at 70 Fern Jane Mason Kilburn, 70, of 436 Fern Drive, Clearfield, died Monday, Dec. 1, 1986 at CareWest Heber City of causes incident to age. She was bom July 18, 1916 in Lava Hot Springs, Ida. , a daughter of Henry Dallas and Jenny Edith Bell Mason. She married Richard Ozias Nov. 26, 1936. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He died Aug. 25, Seminary. Kil-bu- m 1979. She was reared in Lava Hot Springs and graduated from high school there. She had lived in Wyoming and moved to Clearfield in 1956. She was a member of the Clearfield 7th Ward. Surviving are two sons, Gary R. Kilburn, Layton; Ronald Lee Ft. He was born Feb. 16, 1920, in Lewisville, Ida., a son of Milton Chester and Lillie Mae King Stoddard. He married Dorothy Jean Anderson Jan. 31, 1941 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple May 24, 1941. He had worked at the Ogden Arsenal and retired from Hill Air Force Base after 31 years of service. Bair, son of Douglas and Janae Bair, has accepted a call to serve in the Recife Brazil mission. He will enter the MTC on Dec. 17. He was past district commander of the State of Utah. He had worked for the DR&G Railroad and had owned a bakery and was a bartender. Surviving are his widow of Clearfield, two sons and three daughters, Scott Monroe Wilson Sr., Ashland, Kentucky; Everett P.
