NSD Receives Safety Award For Ninth Year The Naval Supply Clearfield Depot at Clearfield received the annual Secretary of Navy industry safety award at a special ceremony Thursday afternoon. It is the ninth consecutive year that NSD has received this award which is for outstanding improvement in reducing accident frequency and severity rates. Captain F. B. Risser, commanding officer, received the awards from Capt. Jesse L. Hull, Chief of Staff of the 12th Naval District. Invited guests included: Gov. J. Bracken Lee, Senators Arthur V. Watkins and Wallace F. Bennett, Representatives William A. Dawson and II. Aldous Dixon, Mr. Orson M.
