BOUNTIFUL NEWS HELEN BRIGGS PHONE 425 J In a lovely ceremony solemnized Friday evening, Miss Barbara Briggs became the bride of Michael Market, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam uel Market of Portland, Oregon. President Amby Briggs of South Davis stake officiated at the double ring rites February 25th. A beautiful reception was held in the evening at the Bountiful 3rd ward amusement hall. The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Briggs 173 South 13th East, Bountiful, Utah, wore a wedding gown of white satin, entrain. Her fingertip vail of illusion was caughtcar-to a tiara of seed pearls and she ried a georgeous white orchid. Attending the bride as matron of honor was Mrs. Betty Tibbitts and other attendants were Mrs. Ralph Duerden, Mrs. Alvin Briggs, Mrs. Leo Briggs, Miss Carol Tingey and Mrs. Dick Hatch. Harold Tibbitts served as best man. Ralph Duerden and Dick Hatch served as ushers. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Briggs, Mrs. Eva Hill, Mrs. Charles Shirley Mrs. Jess Briggs, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Briggs and Mrs. LaDell Rodgers assisted at the reception. Barbara and Mick left Monday Oregon for Portland, evening where they will be extensivley entertained by the Market's, then on to San Francisco where they will make their home. We surely wish them oodles of success and happiness. Mrs. Helen Day entertained her bridge club Thursday atevening. 2:00 in the Tuesday March 8th Bountiful 5th ward, llellen Amott, will continue her literacy lesson "Uric Expression of the Restoration." Study of gospel songs and other poetic expression vibrent with message of the new dispense-tio- n will be given as only Helen can give them. Relief society members of the Bountiful 5th ward! Jackie Gierisch is continuing his studies at the university there. Neil Williams has moved into one of many new homes he has built in Bountiful since he came here from Malad, Ida.; namely, in the one located on the northeast corner of the block east of the tabernacle block. Rcndell Schulthies of New Ply mouth, Ida., who is employed by Union Pacific, is here. Enos Nelson and family have moved into their new home near Fourth east on Center street and Mrs. Heeley and family have moved in the Carter home vacated by the Nelsons.
