The only clement of the movie that is a little disappointing is that so much is revisited from the previous films and it doesnt really stand alone. Before seeing this film its probably a good idea to review what has happened in previous films. The original Rocky film came out in 1976. Being thirty years later, the new film is sure to attract a new generation of moviegoers. These new Rocky fans should know that Rockys now deceased wife was named Adrian. She is a big part of this new movie and had a child with Rocky named Rocky Jr. The new fans should also know about Apollo Creed, a former opponent and deceased friend of the boxer, who is made reference to in this new film. Before Rocky Balboa came out, the last time Stallone's character stepped into the ring was 1985 in Rocky IV. Since then he has been a trainer. In this movie Rocky ow ns a restaurant and entertains customers with stories of his epic matches. That is until hes asked to climb back into the ring for one last fight.
