the most moat I 1 impressive ve pu pui u lie demonstrations the most eminent men in the nation stood around the bier all business in the national capital was suspended during the ber services vices the presence of the president the cabinet the su prime judges high officials of Con congress reas and the diplomatic corps cor pa was waa not more signi fi fl cant than the homage of the waiting crowds crowde who in respectful silence aided the streets through which the funeral cortege pawed passed the parlor on the second floor where the body lay was fairly embowered empowered ered in floral
