Close to 55 floats and six marching bands moved down Cedar City's Main street Saturday morning Bands throughout the state of Utah, including SUSC's own Scarlet and Black entertained spectators with their baton and flag twirlers, and a variety of tunes. Awards went to Beaver City for Sweepstakes, PBL for the most beautiful, Lambda Delta Sigma and Sigma Gamma Chi for best theme, and Masque Club for most original entry. Other interesting entries included the Waukeenyans, Sigma Nu, and a howitzer cannon led by the ROTC students. The ROTC jolted everyone with a shot from the cannon which was later brought over to the Homecoming football game to shoot Nerf footballs into the crowd after every touchdown I Pat Sajak and the lonely Vanna White a k a David Bayles and Leslie Yedmakride on the Resident Hall Association float Z &t s w I V opened for 'The Untouchables' at the concert!dance.
