Associate Provost Carter says that future expansion of day class offerings is strictly up to the growth in the budget, and that the day classes are separate from the classes that are being offered as well this is paid 100 percent by summer. the students, says Carter. The self support classes this year include two that are being taught at Brian Head and field classes at Zion, Cedar Breaks, Kolob Terrace, and the archeological Anasazi site in southwestern Utah. There are 23 classes being offered this year. According to Carter, The theatre arts program has moved to campus and has been expanded. The Shakespearean workshop is taught July 26 to August 5 and is instructed by Fred Adams along with special instructors from Phoenix and it includes duel scenes and monologue. The creative writing class will be taught by Dave Lee and has guest authors Jim Heynen, Carol Bangs, and Ivy Ruckman. self-suppo- rt time student and SI Self-suppo- rt self-suppo- rt The Geology class, Special Tour of Zion, is a strenuous hike of 17 miles, 2,500 feet in variation and includes walking in water for 12 miles. The enrollment in the class is restricted to 30 students.
