Mr. Hundley, entering his 12th y season as the Jazz announcer, was a 1953 high school in Charleston, W.V.. He went on to a standout career at West each of his last Virginia, being named two seasons. He was the Minneapolis Lakers' choice as the number one pick in the 1958 college draft and played six years with the franchise including time in Los Angeles. He appeared in two NBA Games. He was the emcee at the National Basketball Hall of Fame for a record third time in 1985. The Payson High School Ceremonial and Pipe Bands from Payson, Utah, will perform a field show for the ceremonies, drawing from their repertoire of British-styl- e tunes in a special salute to the athletes ol the 1986 Utch Games The bands are under the play-by-pla- All-St- ar direction of Mr. Jerry Chatwin. A special drill team demonstration, directed by Mrs. Carol Bishop, will be presented by drill teams from Bryce Valley, Cedar City, Dixie, Panguitch and Parowan high schools. Specialty acts will perform for the assembled athletes and the audience in the stands from a stage erected at the south end of the stadium The Ceremonies will conclude with the formal extinguishing rf th Utah Summer Games Flame, followed by the largest fireworks show in the history ot southern Utah At a cost of nearly $5,000, the fireworks will include aerial and field displays never before seen in the southern part of Utah The show, prepared by Fireworks West of Logan, Utah, will be under the direction of the Cedar City Fire Department Sponsors ot the fiieworks are the Cedar City Lions Club, the Cedar City Corporation, and the Utah Summer Games Foundation Tickets for the various events of the Utah Summer Games are available in Cedar City at three ticket outlets: The Cedar City Chamber Office (286 North ), the Cedar City Corporation Mam, phone ), Office (110 North Main, phone and, beginning July 1, at the Utah Summer Games ticket office in the Centrum at SUSC. An pass will be available for $5, including admission to the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. A daily pass for all sporting events (does not include the Opening and Closing Ceremonies) can be purchased for $2 General admission tickets to the Opening Ceremonies can be purchased for $3.
