Also, Fisher had been practicing for four months, and during her peak weeks she ran an average of 82 miles per week. After this, Fisher tapered her training to prepare for the St. George Marathon. Fisher will need approximately one month to recover from the race and let her legs regain spring. Apparently Fisher dosent want to be wearing marathon shoes for the rest of her life. Fisher has broken and set new records. Last year she captured the NAIA womens marathon with a record time of 2:51:05. Here at SUSC, Fisher has broken the records in the 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000 meters.
