Banks ASSUSC clubs and organizations coordinator Here at SUSC we have a large number of clubs and organizations to serve the students. You as a student have greatly benefited from these different organizations, even though you may not be aware of it. For instance, when was the last time you went to a school wide dance held in the Fieldhouse or in the Great Hall? Or what did you think of the homecoming parade? There are many more things could bring up but the fact remains that our clubs greatly enhance life here on our campus. I Now the fact is that our clubs receive some help from our student senate as far as funding for some activities go, but the majority of the things that they do are funded by the clubs themselves. For this reason we have fund raisers to help in this way. Some clubs sell things, others have car washes. Along this line of fund raisers, there is something that will interest you. On Feb. 4 all the clubs on campus are putting on a Club Carnival for the whole community. Others have been put on before but they weren't as good as this one will be. The clubs are working hard to make this one the best ever yet. We will have cotton candy, dart games, computer games, food booths, jail houses and much more. Come support the Club Carnival so that all the clubs can support you as students later on. It will be fun for everyone so come and join us on Feb. 4, 1985 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Student Center.
