Intramural Tennis Tournament match play begins. f L Coming up Ag Club fete set The SUSC Ag Club will hold its horors banquet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 16 at the Golden Corral. The cost is $2.50 for club members and $5.50 for others. Elections for 1984-8- 5 officers will also be held. Contact Eli Clark at 7927 before Tuesday night. Computer seminar set Two seminars will be presented for beginning users of the new data base management system just purchased by the college, ACCENT R, on May 17 and 24 at 4 p.m. in Science 306. ACCENT R currently runs on the computer and enables the user to store data and later retrieve data in a variety of ways which can reveal hidden interrelationships. DEC-2- 0 ACCENT R is applicable in all scientific areas and also in business and administration or any area which gathers and processes large amounts of data. The two seminars are sponsored by Desmond Penny of the department of computer science. Please contact Penny at extension 7708 to reserve your place as terminal space is limited. MCC banquet slated The announcement of SUSCs Outstanding Indian Student and Outstanding Black Student will be made at the Center Awards Banquet on May 17 at 7 p.m. in the Mu'ti-Cultur- Small Ballroom. Nearly 30 awards will be presented at the banquet, including several scholarships and citations for academic excellence. Free to minority students and invited guests, the banquet is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. in the Small Ballroom. The public is invited to attend and ran make reservations by calling 586-777- |
